Human beings have amazing memories. We can recall between 20,000 and 100,000 words in our own language as well as possibly thousands more in foreign language.Memory is like a musclethe more it is used, the better it gets.The more it is neglected, the worse it gets.
But many factors are influencing our memories.Firstly,it is a fact that some people were born with better memories.Secondly, different things are kept in different parts of the brain.Ideas,words and numbers are stored in the lefthand side and images, sounds and smells in the righthand side.Thirdly,unusual experiences can produce chmicals such as adrenaline in our body which can boost memory. From the two pictures, we can safely draw the conclusion that what really counts is what you think and whether you are willing to take action to make a change or not. The first woman is a typical example of those who have a negative attitude towards their life. They tend to be losers in the competition with the fate, which maes them in a worse condition. So, I prefer to be the second woman who can bravely have a try to fight with destiny. They have a tendency to succeed and have something bright in store for them.

鏡湖在蕪湖市可是個家喻戶曉的地方，外地人來蕪湖必看的一景�，F在的鏡湖風景優美，是市民休閑的好去處�？赡阒酪郧暗溺R湖是什么樣子嗎？聽我給你講講吧。
在上世紀90年代中后期，鏡湖的水體呈高富營養化狀態，水質嚴重惡化，水變成了黃色。惡化的原因主要有：蕪湖市某醫院通過地下水道將大量未經處理的污物、污水直接排進了鏡湖；部分素質不高的市民往鏡湖里倒垃圾；最可氣的是鏡湖風景區的某些工作人員竟然在鏡湖里洗拖把！慢慢地，鏡湖水變成了黃色，湖面上漂浮著許多垃圾，還散發著一股臭味。來到鏡湖邊的人們都捂著鼻子跑開了，嘴里還不停地說：“真臭！臭死了！”
一九九九年DDD二０００年，蕪湖市人民政府號召全市人民清理鏡湖。首先，工作人員用機器將湖水抽干，再由黨員帶頭和市民們一起挖掉淤泥，最后注入清澈的水。我外公是黨員，他有著親身體驗，外公說，那次勞動很累，但改善了鏡湖的水質，大伙兒都感到很高興。
現在人們的環保意識增強了，再也沒有人往鏡湖里扔垃圾、排污水了。當你來到鏡湖時，你會看到一片清澈的湖水，水底游來游去的小魚，湖水旁婀娜的垂柳和剛長出來的青青的小草。
有了90年代的教訓，我們一定要做個講文明的好孩子，要保護鏡湖水質，保持生態平衡。
